Is It Just Noise Phobia?

Me seeking comfort in an uncomfortable situation (ears back, heavy panting).

My human is ever hyper vigilante to the issue(s) causing me fear, and although he believes that over crating in an area separate from the rest of the human pack may be to blame because disassociation seems to be involved, he is on the look out for the root of the problem(s) affecting me. My human is researching noise phobia, because I jump at noises heard from behind or off to the side and in my breed, German Shepherd and shepherding breeds, noise phobia is more prevalent.
